More dictionaries went out today!!! Rotarians distributed dictionaries to the fourth grade students of Hasson Heights Elementary School today. To protect the kid’s privacy, you cannot see their smiling faces; but believe me they were thrilled!!
This is just another wonderful project that the Oil City Rotary does!!

Can u plz keep all the lights and snowflakes lit through Christmas! It’s so sad to see the tree lit only half the time if that! Cranberry and franklins stay lit 24/7 til new years
Why is this not lite threw the day
Anyone that would like to donate or volunteer to Rotary - Oil City for the Christmas lights that cost $1000/ year to maintain please feel free to send to PO BOX 982 Oil City PA 16301. We keep the lights on during dark hours to reduce replacement time of lights. You can also purchase items from here oil-city-rotary.terrilynn.com/ to support the Town Square lights.
A group of fourth graders from St. Stephen School received a special gift this past Thursday—the gift of words.
The Rotary Dictionary Project is a nationwide effort to provide young students with their own personal dictionaries. Members of the Oil City Rotary Club distribute the dictionaries to all the local fourth grade students. The schools included are Christian Life Academy, St. Stephen School, Cranberry Elementary, Seventh Street Elementary, and Hasson Heights Elementary.
The dictionaries are filled with more than just terms and definitions. They also includes a mini encyclopedia filled with maps, facts about U.S. presidents, sign language, math conversation tables and more!
Pictured is Rotarian, Rebekah Deal, her son in the front wearing black, Teddy Deal, and the rest of the fourth grade class at St. Stephen School.
